Car hits Hess station in Hyannis


HYANNIS
 - A car apparently jumped a curb and hit the front of the Hess Express on Bearses's Way and Route 28 in Hyannis around 9:30 p.m.

No one was injured but the front wall was slightly pushed in.

Reports say police discovered the driver had outstanding warrants and was arrested.

Grass fire at underground house in Brewster
BREWSTER - Firefighters were called to a reported structure fire at the Underground Gallery at 637 Setucket Road just before 2:30 p.m. Grass over the top of the building built into a hillside had caught fire possibly due to a stove inside. The fire was quickly knocked down and no structural damage was done.

Two SUV crash in Hyannis


HYANNIS 
- At 9:50 a.m. Saturday there was a crash between two SUVs at the corner of Pitchers Way & Route 28 in Hyannis. A Ford Expedition and a Chevy Equinox collided sending the Equinox off the road somehow wedging between two trees. Four teens in the Equinox were evaluated at the scene by EMTs. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
