Driver miraculously escapes car vs tree in Centerville

CENTERVILLE - Officials say it was a miracle a man escaped from his car after crashing into a tree in Centerville, and it was also lucky he did not have a passenger.
The crash happened about 12:25 a.m. on Old Stage Road near Great Marsh Road. The impact demolished the Acura sedan.
The driver, open Woodson, 25,of Centerville was taken by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment. Police cited him for operating to endanger.

Brewster crash ends in drunk driving arrest
BREWSTER - A late night crash ended with a driver facing alleged drunken driving charges. A car went off Route 124 near the entrance to Sweetwater Forest Campground about 11:45 p.m. Friday, ending up down an embankment into some trees. The woman driving was not injured but reportedly failed sobriety tests and was arrested by Brewster Police for operating under the influence of alcohol. Further details were not immediately available.
