Crash temporarily closes Route 132 HYANNIS - A two-vehicle crash temporarily shut down Route 132 during the evening commute. The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. in front of Pizzeria Uno. Two people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital, one with serious but non life-threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
Pickup vs school bus in Sandwich SANDWICH - Sandwich Police are investigating a collision between a pickup truck and a school bus. The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Route 6A at Quaker Meetinghouse Road. Three people were treated and released at the scene. Further details were not immedately available.
Cape Air plane lands safely after landing gear warning light HYANNIS - Hyannis firefighters were called to Barnstable Municipal Airport about 3:15 p.m., after the pilot of a Cape Air Cessna 402C reported a warning light indicated his landing gear might not be down safely.
The pilot was able to eventually get an all clear indication and after receving confirmation from the tower the gear appeared to be down, landed safely. No injuries were reported.
Winds blow down tree, knock out power in Centerville CENTERVILLE - The frigid gusty winds continue to cause problems this mornng. About 4 a.m. a large tree was brought down along Main Street at Starboard Lane. Electric wires were torn down, knocking out power and heat to a large section of Centerville.
