Another crash reported on Sagamore Bridge A CWN reader stuck in the traffic after a crash on the Sagamore Bridge sent in these photos. BOURNE - For the second time this week, Sagamore Bridge traffic was jammed a time after a crash.
Three vehicles collided, two of them, an SUV and car crashed head-on around 3:30 p.m.
Two people were taken to to Jordan Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Crews were able to clear the scene quickly and afternoon commuter traffic is flowing smoothly.
State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Top Story: Elderly woman backs car into Harwich fish market HARWICHPORT - Around 2 p.m. Wednesday an 86-year-old woman apparently mistook the gas pedal for the brake and backed into the wall of George's Fish Market at Route 28 and Kildee Road.
The out-of-control vehicle struck a female patron on the elbow. Harwich Fire and Rescue treated both women at the scene but neither required transport to the hospital.

The Harwich building inspector was called to the scene to determine the extent of damage to the building.

Yarmouth Police arrest woman for multiple domestic violence attacks WEST YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department reports that on Wednesday at 1:28 a.m. Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Christopher Van Ness and Kevin Antonovitch went to cottage 20 of the Beachwood Cottages on Route 28 in West Yarmouth to serve an arrest warrant for a woman who had attacked her boyfriend on two separate occasions in the past two days.
Patrol Officers Van Ness and Antonovitch observed the suspect inside the cottage through a window. After knocking several times at the front door, the suspect’s boyfriend opened the door and the suspect was found hiding under a blanket in a bedroom.
The suspect, Carrie Lynn Guenard, 49, of West Yarmouth (pictured at right), was placed under arrest on the outstanding warrant and transported to Yarmouth Police Headquarters and held overnight. She was subsequently transported to the Barnstable District Court this morning for arraignment.
Guenard had been arrested by Yarmouth Police Patrol Officer Richard White on Sunday, July 5 for allegedly throwing a sandwich at and punching her boyfriend numerous times in the face. She was arraigned in the Barnstable District Court on Monday, July 6 for Domestic Assault and Battery.
At approximately 9:06 p.m. on Monday night, Yarmouth Police responded to another alleged attack by Guenard at a restaurant on Route 28 in West Yarmouth in which her boyfriend reported being assaulted with a pair of scissors, grabbed by the head, and shoved onto a lit stove burner. Guenard fled prior to the arrival of Police Officers and an area search was conducted with negative results. Yarmouth Police obtained a warrant for her arrest on Tuesday morning and the suspect was located early this morning. Guenard is charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (scissors); Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (lit burner); Assault and Battery; Attempt to Commit Murder; and Mayhem. Truro Police file drunk driving charges in Monday crash Truro Police are charging the woman driving the pickup truck at right with OUI after she allegedly rear-ended this wagon. 5 people were injured. TRURO - Truro Police have filed charges including drunk driving against one of the drivers in Monday afternoon's crash at Route 6 and Head of the Meadow Road shortly before 4 p.m. that sent five people to Cape Cod Hospital. Police say their investigation showed a Chevy pickup truck driven by 46-year-old Linda Cabral of Provincetown rear-ended a Subaru Outback station wagon that was slowing to turn onto Head of the Meadow Road. The Subaru was driven by 33-year-old Jamie Wolf of Truro.
Cabral and two passengers in the pickup, along with Wolf and a passenger from the Subaru were all taken to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulances from as far away as Eastham. None of the injuries appear life-threatening.
Cabral was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating negligently to endanger, and failing to use care. She will be arraigned at a later date.

Yarmouth Police host immigrant community open house YARMOUTH - This Thursday, July 9th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Yarmouth Police Department—in conjunction with Brazilian Community members and the Barnstable County Human Rights Commission—
will be hosting a special open house at Yarmouth Police Headquarters.
The general purpose of the open house is to provide our immigrant population an opportunity to meet Police Officers and other Public Safety officials and learn first-hand information about community policing; fire and emergency medical safety; immigration; town libraries and other governmental services.
"We are excited to invite our immigrant population to a celebration as we gather to learn more about one another," said Yarmouth Police Chief Michael J. Almonte.
Light refreshments will be served and all citizens are invited to attend and participate.
