Woman injured in Orleans rollover
ORLEANS - A woman was injured when her vehicle rolled on its side as she was coming onto Route 6 in Orleans Sunday evening. The crash happend about 9:40 p.m. on the eastbound onramp of Exit 12. Firefighters had to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the victim. She was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Meanwhile another vehicle rolled on its side about 8 p.m. on the westbound side by exit 6 in Barnstable. That driver escaped serious injury. State Police are investigating both crashes and if the poor weather may have been a contributing factor.
Man rescued from Wellfleet Harbor
WELLFLEET - A man was pulled to safety after running into trouble in the waters off Burton Baker Beach in Wellfleet Harbor shortly after 2 p.m.
Firefighters and the Wellfleet Harbormaster reached the victim and brought him into the town pier.
Rescuers evaluated the man who appeared to be okay.

Three vehicle crash in Yarmouth

Weather may have been a factor in a three vehicle crash in South Yarmoth Sunday morning.
SOUTH YARMOUTH - Shortly before 10 a.m. three cars collided at the intersection of Station Avenue, and Old Townhouse Road, in South Yarmouth.
Two people were transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Yarmouth Fire Dept ambulances with non life threatening injuries.
It was raining lightly at the time, but it was unclear if that was a factor in the crash.
Yarmouth Police continue to investigate.

Vacant building heavily damaged by fire in Harwich

Fire heavily damaged a Harwichport house early Sunday morning.
HARWICHPORT - A fast moving fire was quickly brought under control at 15 Patricia Lane off Lower County Road around 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
Harwich firefighters along with mutual aid from Dennis, Chatham, Brewster, and Orleans knocked the fire down but heavy damage occurred.
The house was under renovation and workmen were reportedly there Saturday.
The home was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.
The exact cause is under investigation
