Three injured in Brewster crash
BREWSTER - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Brewster shortly before 11 a.m. The crash happened on Main Street (Route 6A) at Crosby Lane. The impact sent one of the vehicles into a utility pole and at least one person had to be extricated from the wreckage. The victims were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Brewster Police are investigating the crash.
SUV vs pole in East Dennis

EAST DENNIS - Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, the tranquility of the village of East Dennis on the east side of Sesuit Harbor was shattered when the driver of a Ford Explorer failed to negotiate the curve from Pleasant Street onto School Street. The vehicle carrying two young hit a utility pole, shearing it off at the base. Dennis Fire Rescue responded and transported the passenger of the SUV to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown but apparently not life-threatening injuries. Dennis Police transported the driver to Dennis Police Headquarters in handcuffs. NStar was called to replace the pole and arrived on scene around 6:30 a.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Driver injured in hit-and-run crash in Centerville
CENTERVILLE - A driver was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Centerville early Sunday morning. The crash happened on Old Stage Road. The other vehicle fled the scene but left a major clue behind -- its front bumper. Rescuers had to extricate the victim driver who was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Barnstable Police reportedly located the suspect vehicle a short time later. Further details were not immediately available.
Yarmouth, Barnstable Police called to quell disturbance at large party
YARMOUTH - Multiple Yarmouth Police cruisers along with several Barnstable units were called to a house party that apparently degenerated into a fight on Berry Lane in West Yarmouth early Sunday morning. One person was treated for minor injuries after the fight that reportedly involved baseball bats. It is not clear if anyone was arrested.
