March 19, 2013 (HYANNIS) _ Leaders from Cape Cod’s arts and culture community gathered yesterday in Hyannis to learn more about promoting themselves and their activities.

The 6th annual Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Creative Collaborative Conference included sessions with the legislative delegation and local media.

Some of the workshops looked at making a living with your art and social media marketing.

Creative Community Awards were presented to the Cape Cod Conservatory’s George Sharr for Arts Educator of the Year and a lifetime achievement award to Sculptor Joyce Johnson.
