Head-on crash injures three in Yarmouth
YARMOUTH - At about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon Yarmouth Police and Fire responded to a head-on crash on Route 28 at Woodbine Avenue in West Yarmouth. A Ford F-150 and Toyota Avalone collided. One adult and two children were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. The other driver was not injured. Yarmouth Police are investigating the crash which snarled traffic for a time.

Teens shaken up after vehicle strikes utility pole

Teens shaken up after vehicle strikes utility pole
OSTERVILLE - Two teenagers were shaken up after their vehicle struck a utility pole in Osterville around midnight. The vehicle's Onstar system reportedly alerted rescuers to respond to the Main Street location. Utility crews will work through the night to replace the pole. Luckily the wires remained intact and there was no blackout. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police
Chapin Beach in Dennis-after the storm
DENNIS - Monday afternoon's windchill was pure winter, but it didn't stop a kite surfer (top photo) from trying his luck in the high winds and frigid waters off Chapin Beach in Dennis. The beach itself sustained heavy damage in last week's blizzard. The ramp for off-road access (bottom photo) was devastated by the storm surge.
