Crash slows traffic on Sagamore Bridge
BOURNE - A crash on the Sagamore Bridge snarled traffic for a time. The crash happened shortly before noon, closing one lane in both directions. No serious injuries were reported. State Police are investigating.

Two-car rear-ender
DENNISPORT – Around 10:55 a.m. on Sunday a Volkswagen Cabrio convertible rear-ended a Toyota Sienna minivan on Route 28 eastbound in front of Benny’s.
 
The female drivers of both vehicles were checked by Dennis medics and both refused transport.
 
The Volkswagen sustained moderate frontend damage while the minivan sustained damage to the rear end including the loss of a rear side window. A dog riding in the minivan was uninjured.
 
The eastbound lane of Route 28 east was closed until the scene was cleared at 11:43 a.m.
 
Dennis Police are investigating.

Snow causes crashes including Truro rollover

CAPE COD
- Light snowfall overnight has led to a number of spinouts and minor crashes. Police report roads are very slippery and urge motorists who must be out overnight to use extra caution. About 5:20 a.m. a Honda Fit went off Route 6 in Truro near Stoney Hill Road ending up on its roof. The driver was put on a board and protective collar and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Two safe after falling through ice in Centerville
CENTERVILLE
- Two people are safe after reportedly falling through thin ice on a Centerville pond. Rescuers rushed to the small pond off Three Ponds Road about 9 p.m. Both victims were able to get out of the water by the time crews arrived. Both were evaluated for possible hypothermia but declined to go to the hospital.
