January 9, 2012 (BOURNE) _ Work crews will be back on the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges Wednesday, performing lighting maintenance.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says that on the Sagamore Bridge, one lane going off-Cape will be closed for 2 hours beginning at 8:30 a.m.

When that work is complete, one lane heading on-Cape will be closed for the same amount of time.

Maintenance on the Bourne Bridge will begin at 12:30 p.m., closing one lane going off-Cape for about an hour and a half, then closing one lane coming on-Cape for the same amount of time.

Work is scheduled to be completed by 3:30 p.m.

You might consider adjusting your travel time over the bridges today, as there are sure to be slow downs.
