January 8, 2012 (WAREHAM) _ During two unrelated incidents this past weekend – Wareham police seized a handgun, assault weapon, shotgun and ammunition from two males.

Donta Hood, 22, of Brockton and John Thomas, 44, of Wareham were arrested during a routine motor vehicle stop at Route 6 and 28.

Wareham police found a loaded .25 caliber handgun in their car. Both were charged with violating firearms laws.

On Sunday – John Rams, 61, was arrested and charged after allegedly attacking his 20-year-old daughter at 41 Lakeshore Drive.

A search of Rams’ home turned up an assault rifle, shotgun and a hundred rounds of ammo.
