January 7, 2013 (VINEYARD HAVEN) _ The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency will begin holding information sessions this week for local governments impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

The federal government issued a major disaster declaration for six area counties – paving the way for reimbursement.

The first information session takes place Monday in Vineyard Haven – while the second is set for Tuesday in Harwich.

Three other sessions will be held off Cape Wednesday and Thursday.

Local governments and agencies are eligible for 75% reimbursement for eligible expenses.
