December 31, 2012 (CHATHAM) _ Chatham will be one of three local communities ringing in 2013 with First Night celebrations.

75 performances and events and two fireworks displays will be held in the lower Cape town.

Sandwich will host its inaugural First Night event – including the illumination of a giant lighthouse.

Nantucket will also host inaugural First Night events --including a laser light show, a skating celebration for kids and families and a Great Gatsby ball.
