Car crashes into woods in Mashpee

MASHPEE
- A car crashed into the woods off Route 28 in Mashpee Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened near South Cape Resort. The extent of injuries was not immediately clear. Mashpee Police are investigating.

Car fire slows Route 6 traffic
SANDWICH - A car fire slowed traffic along Route 6 for a time Tuesday afternoon. The fire was reported on the eastbound side near exit 2 around 2:45 p.m. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and no injuries were reported.

Liquor store robbed in Dennisport

DENNISPORT
- Dennis Police report that at approximately 7:04 p.m. Monday evening, they responded to the Marine Package Store at 697 Route 28 in Dennisport for a 911 call reporting an armed robbery had just occurred at that location.

 
Upon arrival officers determined that a lone male, dressed in dark clothing, wearing a ski type mask and carrying a knife had held up the store.
 
The suspect fled after taking an undetermined amount of cash and was seen leaving the area on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.

High CO levels found in Harwich business
HARWICH
- High carbon monoxide levels were discovered in a Harwich business Monday evening. Firefighters were called to B&L Pump Supply at 36 Great Western Road about 7:15 p.m. to investigate alarms sounding. The heading system was shut down and the building ventilated. An employee who had left work earlier in the evening after feeling ill was evaluated by paramedics. Further details were not immediately available.


Wellfleet Police weekly arrest report
WELLFLEET
- Wellfleet Police report two arrests for the past week. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On December 8th at 8;17 p.m.
Kathryn Nedweski, 22, of South Yarmouth was charged with
Warrant arrest

On December 8th at 10:19 p.m.
Alan G. Ledbury, 73, of Brewster was charged with
Operating under the influence of liquor

Brewster Police arrest update
BREWSTER
- Brewster Police report the following arrests since their last update. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On November 30th at 3:11 a.m.
Adam W. Finnegan, 29, of Brewster was charged with
Injury to church or synagogue over $5,000
Arson of a dwelling
Warrant arrest

Duane M. Ryan, 52, of Brewster was charged with
Operating under the influence of liquor (2nd offense)
Oprating negligently to endanger
Marked lanes violation
Leaving the scene of property damage

On December 3rd at 9:39 a.m.
Candace C. Jacobs, 63, of Brewster was charged with
Operating after license suspended or revoked
