Home sales take a jump on Cape Cod
November 27, 2012 (HYANNIS) _ The housing market on Cape Cod took a big turn to the upside last month – compared to the year before.
The real estate data collection firm The Warren Group says October 2012 sales shot up nearly 22%.
Year-to-date sales in Barnstable County were up 26%.
The median sale price of a single family home was down slightly to $313,000, from $319,000.
Condo sales were up 40 percent on Cape Cod – while median prices were down.
Home sales on Martha’s Vineyard were flat – but jumped 40% on Nantucket.
Statewide – home sales were up and prices were flat.
