Several injured in Brewster crash
BREWSTER - Several people were injured in a crash in Brewster sometime after 5:30 p.m. The crash happened on Main Street (Route 6A) at Linell Landing Road. A Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) was declared bringing several additional ambulances to the scene. None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening. The crash is under investigation by Brewster Police.

Two arrested, officer injured at Wellfleet fight
WELLFLEET - On Saturday at approximately 10:19 p.m. members of the Wellfleet and Eastham Police Department responded to a fight at the SOL restaurant on Kendrick Ave in Wellfleet. Upon arrival they observed and learned of an altercation between two patrons and members of the staff.  Silas Luster, 23, from Provincetown, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  Zachary Luster, 25, of Provincetown, was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Silas Luster was transported to Cape Cod Hospital and released for facial injuries suffered in the process of being arrested.

Sgt. Turner was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, and released for a leg/knee injury as a result of placing the individual into custody.

The case remains under investigation and other charges are expected.

Golf course holds fundraiser for fire assoc/HHS Spirit club


HARWICHPORT - The Harwichport Golf Course held it's 11th Annual fundraiser to benefit the Harwich Fire Association and the Harwich High School Spirit Club. In the top shot, Fire Captain David LeBlanc works the grille cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs. Plenty of other food was served in the clubhouse. In the middle picture, players wait to tee off.    
 
Over 37 local sponsors put their banners on the fence while some of the prizes are seen in the foreground in the bottom shot. On hole number 2 the prize for a hole-in-one was $5,000.
