October 12, 2012 (WELLFLEET) _ The 12th annual Wellfleet Oysterfest is expected to attract thousands to the Outer Cape this weekend. But this year – it’s going to cost you a clam to get in… Organizers are asking for a voluntary $1 donation this year to help defray the growing costs of the annual event. In addition to eating thousands of oysters – other activities include live music, cooking demonstrations and educational programs. The popular oyster shucking contest will take place on Sunday.
