Cape Cod housing market shows signs of strength
September 25, 2012 (HYANNIS) _ The Cape Cod housing market continues to show signs of improvement.
The real estate data collection firm The Warren Group says the number of sales in Barnstable County was up 28% in August, compared to the year before.
Year-to-date sales were up more than 30%.
The median sale price in August increased slightly to $315,000.
Condo sales and prices were also up on Cape Cod.
On Nantucket – sales were up while the median price was down. Both sales and prices were up on Martha’s Vineyard.
