September 20, 2012 (BARNSTABLE) _ Former ubernatorial candidate and convenience store owner Christy Mihos pleads not guilty to domestic abuse charges in Barnstable District Court.
Mihos – who appeared in court this morning -- is accused of charges he assaulted his wife.
A pre-trial was set for november 7th.
Andrea Mihos says her husband threatened her and pushed her during an argument at their yarmouth home last year.
Mihos' attorney says his client denies assaulting his wife and will be exonerated. The attorney says the allegations were fabricated to give Mihos' wife leverage in divorce proceedings.
Andrea Mihos says her allegations aren't related to their divorce proceedings. She alleges he squandered $25 million on failed bids for governor and prostitutes.
