September 11, 2012 (SANDWICH) _ Road work planned in Sandwich this month is expected to cause detours and delays.
The Department of Public Works says paving operations will begin on Farmersville Rd. next Monday – and will continue through October 15.The work will take place from the intersection of Cotuit Rd. to the South Point condo driveway.
Crews will be milling, leveling, paving and installing new drainage over the course of nearly a month.
Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes while work is underway each day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
