September 7, 2012 (HARWICH) The newly-created Monomoy Regional School District will get its $65 million dollar high school. Voters in Harwich and Chatham okayed debt exclusions at the ballot box yesterday – giving the project its final approval. The state will pick up $29.6 million dollars of the total cost. Harwich will pay $25.2 million – while Chatham will pay $9.8 million. The new high school will be located in Harwich on Oak Street next to the current Harwich High school. The building will house grades 8-through-12.
