August 7, 2012 (MASHPEE) _ Mashpee police arrest a man accused of firing a gun inside an apartment in Marshfield.

Nicholas Lynch, 26, of Falmouth was taken into custody yesterday as he arrived for work at a gym on Route 28 in Mashpee.

Marshfield police notified police on the Cape that Lynch had allegedly shot up an apartment in their town earlier in the day and was likely heading to Mashpee.

He faces charges in Marshfield of assault with intent to murder and armed home invasion. there were no injuries.
