7/26 (Harwich) The Massachusetts School Building Authority has approved the design and funding for the planned Monomoy Regional High School

July 26, 2012 (HARWICH) The Massachusetts School Building Authority has approved the design and funding for the planned Monomoy Regional High School.
That means the state will pick up 29.7 million of the expected $65 million dollar cost.
Both Harwich and Chatham still need to approve the high school project next month.
The School Building Authority approved the project yesterday at their meeting in Boston.
Chairman and State Treasurer Steve Grossman says Monomoy’s needs are a good fit for the construction program.            Chatham and Harwich will split the 49 percent of the cost not covered by the state.
