July 17, 2012 (HARWICH) _ A motorcyclist was killed this morning in Harwich after colliding head-on with car coming in the opposite direction.

The accident happened on Queen Anne Rd. near the town transfer station.

Harwich fire officials say the victim, 54-year-old Thomas Kendall of Harwich was thrown a good distance over the car.
   
Kendell was MedFlighted to Mass General Hospital in Boston where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car, 59-year-old Raymond Gottwald of Harwich was also treated for less severe injuries.

The cause of the crash under investigation.
