U-S Marine Corp Battle Color Ceremony comes to Yarmouth
July 11, 2012 (YARMOUTH) _ The U-S Marine Corps Battle Color Ceremony returns to Yarmouth tonight.
The event at D-Y Regional High School will include the silent drill team, Marine band and the Marine Corps Color Guard.
The Battle Color Detachment performs worldwide – recognizing those who serve in the U-S military.
They last performed on Cape Cod in 2010.
This year – the two-hour ceremony will honor the 13 Gold Star families with ties to Cape Cod who have lost loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan in recent years.
The ceremony begins at 5 p-m tonight at the D-Y High School field.
