June 7, 2012 (CAPE COD) Law enforcement officers from across Cape Cod are running from Provincetown to Bourne today. They’re taking part in the 6th annual Barnstable County law enforcement torch run to benefit special Olympics Massachusetts. The event is held worldwide – and raised more than 42 million dollars last year. The Cape Cod event will run 66 miles along Route 6A throughout the afternoon – ending at the Bourne police department around 5 p-m.
