6/7 (Nantucket) Nantucket police will be calling in help from across the water this fourth of July

June 7, 2012 (NANTUCKET) Nantucket police will be calling in help from across the water this fourth of July.

They’re looking to avoid a repeat of last year’s beach party at Nobadeer that ended with a beach full of trash and debris.            According to the Inquirer and Mirror – Nantucket  police will bring in more than a dozen state police troopers and other law enforcement officer from off-island.

The goal is to cut back on underage drinking and out-of-control partying.

Parking in the area will also be limited on the fourth of July.
