May 25, 2012 (BARNSTABLE) With the Memorial Day weekend upon us – Barnstable police are reminding boaters that vehicles and trailers using town boat ramps must have a sticker.

Sgt. Sean Sweeney says they want to alert visitors that they’ll be enforcing the sticker rule to avoid congestion and assure people with stickers will have access.            

Stickers can be purchased at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center.            

Vehicles and trailers without stickers will be ticketed – and possibly towed.            

At the state ramp in Barnstable Village at Millway Beach – boaters can purchase a daily ticket for their vehicle and trailer.
