Barnstable Police, D.A. investigate suspicious death
HYANNIS - (WXTK) Barnstable police and the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office are investigating what’s described as a suspicious death following an assault in Hyannis. 31-year-old Issac Grossett of Framingham died on February 3rd after a fight at the Cromwell Court apartment complex on Barnstable Road. But it’s unclear is the death was related to the assault or a minor car accident in the complex’s parking lot. Authorities say Grossett had a fight with Ronald Franklin of Hyannis before the crash. If the fight caused the death, the initial charges of aggravated assault could be upgraded.
