December 7, 2011 (WAREHAM) It was a bit of an odd arrest for Wareham police as two drivers who crashed into each other – are both arrested for drunken driving.           

It was just after one a-m last Friday morning when officers responded to an accident at Sandwich Road and the Cranberry Highway.           

One of the vehicles rear-ended the other at a traffic light.           

Wareham police arrested and charged both operators – 25-year-old Marc Charette of East Wareham – and 23-year-old Stephanie Curran of Bridgewater – with OUI.           

Police say both drivers knew each other prior to the accident.
