September 16, 2011 (CHATHAM) The next phase of Chatham’s sewer project gets underway Monday – with detours planned along Route 28.

The area impacted is between Old Queen Anne Road and Barn Hill Road – with that stretch of 28 closed to through traffic.

Access to all homes and businesses will be allowed throughout construction.

Detours will be in place for through traffic utilizing George Ryder Road to Old Queen Anne.

The work will be underway from now until December – between 7 a-m and 7 p-m.
