August 24, 2011 (HARWICH) The man who crashed his car into a utility pole yesterday morning on Route 124 in Harwich is facing drug charges.
Twenty one -year old Michael Foster of Brewster was not injured in the 6 am crash that shut down Route 124 between Long Pond Drive and Seymour’s Pond, for several hours.
During a search of the car – police found drug paraphernalia including baggies, a scale, a pipe and several containers of marijuana. While they were inventorying the material, foster called the police department saying he needed to retrieve some very important papers from his car.
When he arrived, police placed him under arrest and charged him with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
He was arraigned in Orleans District Court.
