July 15, 2011 (CAPE COD) The 19th annual “Housing with Love Walk” – involving 11 local non-profits from across the Cape – is getting some congressional help today.           

Staff members from Representative William Keating’s office have joined the leg from the Cape Cod Canal to Falmouth.           

District representative Lance Lambros says Keating understands the importance of the effort this year.           

Led by Bob Murray from the Harwich Eccumenical Council for the Homeless and the Falmouth Housing Authority – the walk raises money and awareness for housing-related agencies.           

The 103-mile trek ends Sunday in Falmouth.           

Murray says the need is greater than ever this year – with prevention money slashed from the federal and state government.
