July 12, 2011 (CAPE COD) The 19th annual “Housing with Love Walk” – involving 11 local non-profits from across the Cape – is heading down Route 6A this afternoon.           

Led by Bob Murray from the Harwich Eccumenical Council for the Homeless and the Falmouth Housing Authority – the walk raises money and awareness for housing-related agencies.           

Today’s leg began in Wellfleet and will end at the Brewster general store.           

The 103-mile trek ends Sunday in Falmouth.           

Murray says the need is greater than ever this year – with prevention money slashed from the federal and state government.           

He says many Cape Codders will be looking for some type of rental assistance or prevention funds by this winter.
