State, Fed Partner To Get Migrants Into Workforce

Massachusetts is partnering with the federal government in an effort to get newly arrived migrants into the workforce.

Governor Maura Healey says they will be helping migrants to apply for documents allowing them to work.

The state and federal homeland security officials will be holding a clinic the week of November 13th in Middlesex County to help with the effort.

Work permits allow migrants to legally hold jobs and earn money while they go through the immigration process.
