If you are in Hyannis today - you are likely to see some traffic issues all day today. Public Works officials say a sewer expansion project will cause problems on Route 28 from 8AM until 5:30PM.
Police say that they will maintain single lane-single direction westbound traffic from Hyannis to Centerville.
Eastbound traffic will be maintained in the same fashion.
All businesses along the construction route will be open for business.
There are detour signs posted and police are asking drivers to be patient.
