The Cape and Islands are under a High Surf Advisory from the National Weather Service from now until 8 p.m. tonight.
Forecasters are expecting large breaking waves of four-to-six feet in the surf zone.
The weather service says this will make for dangerous swimming conditions.
In addition, the National Weather Service is issuing a Gale Warning from 11AM until midnight.
