Police in Dennis say that holiday celebrations at the beach, that border on chaotic will no longer be tolerated.
Police officials say they are working on a plan that basically limits the number of people that can be on Mayflower Beach at any one time.
Hundreds of teens and young people were at the beach over the Fourth of July.
Officials say they want everyone to have fun at the beach but it is getting out of hand.
At one point police estimated that more than 2 thousand people were on the beach.
Twenty Five police officers were deployed to handle the crowd which they say was unmanageable.
