Mashpee Man Accused In Hyannis Stabbing Denied Bail

A Mashpee man who is accused of a stabbing in Hyannis is being denied bail. 

Prosecutors argued in Barnstable District Court on Friday that Kenneth Chisholm was too dangerous to be released because of his prior conviction on charges including illegal firearm possession. 

Chisholm allegedly got into a physical altercation with the victim before stabbing him in the chest with a knife on April 2nd. 

A judge ordered Chisholm to be detained for 120 days until a probable cause hearing.
