Nantucket Residents Will Vote On Rental Property Rule

There is opposition growing among second homeowners on Nantucket to an article up for vote at the annual town meeting in May.

It would allow only full-time residents to rent out their properties by right. All other rentals would require a special permit from the town.

CEO of Cape and Islands Association of Realtors Ryan Castle says the majority of summer rentals on Nantucket are from second homeowners. 

Castle also says it would create two classes of homeowners.
