Tisbury Eyes Change To Alcohol Restrictions At Restaurants

Tisbury could soon be changing its restrictions on alcohol sales at restaurants.

The Martha’s Vineyard Times reports the Massachusetts House has passed a home rule petition sponsored by state representative Dylan Fernandes, which would eliminate the requirement for patrons to order a meal with an adult beverage.

The bill now goes to the State Senate. It would eventually require Tisbury voter approval at an upcoming election.
