Backlash From Senator Cyr's "Landing Bill" Continues

Criticism continues of Senator Julian Cyr and his proposed bill that would impose a $1,000 climate impact landing fee on close to all non-commercial flights in Massachusetts.

After hearing the criticism last week, Cyr walked some things back, saying he’d make exemptions for smaller, private aircraft.

But Sean Collins, of the AOPA, isn’t buying it. Collins says the association will be working with federal and state lawmakers to keep the bill be from being passed.
