Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Ordered To Turn Over Financial Records

The Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribe has been ordered by a federal grand jury to turn over financial records related to the Tribe. 

Mass Live and The Springfield Republican reporting that the tribe has been told by federal officials that they are not the subject of the grand jury probe. 

No one is commenting. 

Grand Juries are secret entities and parties are prohibited from speaking. Andrew Lelling -- the US Attorney refusing to either confirm or deny either the investigation. 

A tribal spokesman not commenting either.
