A man and woman from Mashpee have been indicted by a federal grand jury for trying to buy guns that only police are eligible to buy.
Justin Watson and Angel Ecker are accused of making false statements.
Watson allegedly used a Cape Cod Community College ID card to buy a weapon and then transferred ownership to Ecker. No word on arraignment dates yet.
