Vineyard Wind Moving Some Turbines To Help Fishers

Vineyard Wind says it is moving the planned location of several turbines in its wind farm to help fishermen. The company says the design change gets rid of the turbines near the Nantucket Historic District and Chappaquiddick on the eastern end of Martha's Vineyard, which it says will create additional distance between turbine generators and important commercial fishing areas just south of the Islands. The total project size will remain at about eight-hundred megawatts.
