Probation for Plymouth Man Who Ran Over Woman

A Plymouth man, who admitted that he ran over a woman, was given a sentence of one year of probation.

Scott Hill, 49, ran over the woman in Bourne in April after she attempted to stop him from getting behind the wheel of the car because he was drunk. Hill admitted as much in Falmouth District Court and was charged with assault and battery and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Hill and the woman were at the Eastern Inn in Buzzards Bay where they got into an argument that carried outside. Hill then got in his car and ran down the woman as he drove away. She was taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham where she was treated for bruises and abrasions.
