January 16, 2013 (YARMOUTH) _ Yarmouth police are investigating a reported stabbing that happened early Wednesday morning along Route 28 in South Yarmouth. 

Officers responded to the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room just after 8:30 a.m. for a report of a 46-year-old male suffering from a stab wound.

The victim says he was attacked and stabbed by two unknown males between 4 and 5 a-m.

The unidentified man says he then went home to clean the wound but did not call police.

He was walking to a pending court date in Barnstable Village when he decided to seek help.
