August 20, 2012 (CHATHAM) _ A young humpback whale is free again -- after getting entangled in a rope near Chatham Harbor. Some tuna fisherman reported the whale's predicament Saturday afternoon. Rescuers used a 20-foot pole and hook-shaped knife to cut through the entanglement, which went through its mouth and around its body. The team performed a similar service for the same whale – identified as “hiatus” -- in early July.
