July 11, 2012 (HYANNIS) _ Shoppers and workers at the Cape Cod Mall were left in the dark this morning.

A spokeswoman for the mall’s owner – Simon Properties – says two transformers failed earlier today.

Nstar crews have been working to restore power to the hyannis shopping complex.
