December 4, 2012 (CHATHAM)  _ Orleans and Chatham selectmen will meet in a joint session Tuesday afternoon to discuss various beach management issues.

Topics include the Nauset Beach agreement and impact of the seals and sharks on the bathing beaches.

The proliferation of great white sharks off Chatham and Orleans in recent years has caused concern about how to keep swimmers safe.

A Colorado man was bitten by a great white off Truro last summer.

The Chatham and Orleans selectmen will meet at 4 p-m in the town hall annex room in Chatham.
